This Privacy Policy specifies the types of information we collect, how we use and share this information, and your privacy rights, when you download and use the mobile application AfricDeezayn (“Mobile App” or “AfricDeezayn”).
We collect the personal information you voluntarily provide when you install, access or use the Mobile App. The personal information may include, but not limited to the following:
• Full name;
• Phone number;
• Email address;
• Username;
• Password;
• Country of location;
• Gender;
• Nationality;
• Profession (sector);
• Age bracket;
• Device access data;
• Usage data.
In order to provide certain features of the Mobile App, we may collect, upon your permission, information regarding your location, pictures and other data from your device, including its calendar, camera, contacts list, microphone, reminders, SMS, social media accounts, storage, and other features. If you wish to change your permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.
We automatically collect certain information when you access and use the Mobile App. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information), but it may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser, device name and characteristics, operating system, language preferences, and other technical details. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of the Mobile App and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies.
We process your personal information in order to operate, provide, improve, customize and support the Mobile App, so that you can create, log in, and use your AfricDeezayn account, while we can respond to your questions or request your feedback.
We may share your data in an aggregated and anonymized manner for statistical purposes with third parties in order to operate, provide, improve, customize and support the Mobile App.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary in order to operate, provide, improve, customize and support the Mobile App, unless a more extended retention period is required by applicable law. When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information./p>
You may update and amend at any time your personal information by visiting your AfricDeezayn account. You also have a right to delete, or request that we assist in deleting your personal information by contacting us at ecwmobileapp@ecowas.int. Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation to do so.
If you encounter any objectionable content while using the Mobile App, please report it to us by sending an email to ecwmobileapp@ecowas.int with "report" in the subject line. We require that users agree to the terms (EULA), which clearly state that there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
